Staff Marketing Manager – Activate Experts This critical role will pioneer the digital media strategy for the Activate Experts program. You will architect and execute comprehensive marketing strategies designed to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for a key new offering. Reporting to the Principal Manager of Local Digital Media and Emerging Tech, you will be the central hub for this growth initiative.
Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership & Innovation
Architect and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that blend national brand messaging with DMA-level and hyper-local targeting.
Command the program’s digital media budget, ensuring effective allocation to maximize ROI and exceed ambitious performance goals.
Pioneer scalable testing plans for local markets, partnering with data science and analytics to define and measure success.
Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies and tools to unlock personalization and performance measurement at the local level.
Cross-Functional Influence & Partnership
Serve as the primary media partner for the internal go-to-market team, influencing target market selection, KPIs, and measurement.
Champion the program’s vision across the organization, aligning with senior leadership, product marketers, data partners, and finance.
Cultivate strong relationships with agencies and media partners, staying on the cutting edge of platform best practices for web, phone, and in-person conversion tracking.
Deliver clear, concise updates to senior leadership, confidently representing program strategy and performance in high-stakes presentations.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
Drive the operational rhythm of the program through regular operational mechanisms and maintain workstream clarity via weekly prioritization.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both tactical optimization and high-level strategic pivots.

Master storyteller who uses data to craft compelling narratives, articulating channel strategy and business impact to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

Seamless context-switching, diving deep into the weeds with an analyst one moment and presenting a high-level vision to a senior leader the next.

Qualifications
7+ Years Paid Media with focus on digital. Must have experience leading strategies and initiatives with high impact results in DMA and local marketing, with an in-depth understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Digital Marketing & technical expertise: expert in driving revenue growth with focus in paid media.
Passion for keeping up with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
Minimal travel for industry networking, media, conferences, and related events.
Hybrid role: 3 days in office/week in either San Diego or an office location in the Bay Area (MTV, SF).
Compensation Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
Expected base pay range:
Bay Area, California, CA: $158,000.00 - $213,500.00
Southern California, CA: $150,500.00 - $203,500.00
