Are you a digital marketer who thrives at the intersection of national brand power and hyper-local execution? Do you have a passion for building new programs from the ground up within a world-class enterprise?
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Staff Marketing Manager to pioneer the digital media strategy for our Activate Experts program. This is a critical role where you will architect and execute comprehensive marketing strategies designed to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for a key new offering. You are not just running campaigns; you are building the playbook for how our brand wins at the local level, market by market.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the full media funnel, a passion for data-driven results, and an exceptional ability to influence cross-functional partners. Reporting to the Principal Manager of Local Digital Media and Emerging Tech, you will be the central hub for one of our most exciting growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
As the lead for the Activate Experts program, you will own the end-to-end digital media strategy.
Architect and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that blend national brand messaging with DMA-level and hyper-local targeting.
Command the program's digital media budget, ensuring every dollar is allocated effectively to maximize ROI and exceed ambitious performance goals.
Pioneer innovative, scalable testing plans for local markets, partnering with data science and analytics to define and measure success.
Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies and tools that can unlock personalization and performance measurement at the local level.
Serve as the primary media partner for the internal go-to-market team, influencing target market selection to KPIs and measurement.
Champion the program's vision across the organization, ensuring alignment with senior leadership, product marketers, data partners, and finance.
Cultivate strong relationships with agencies and media partners, staying on the cutting edge of platform best practices for web, phone, and in-person conversion tracking.
Deliver clear, concise updates to senior leadership, confidently representing program strategy and performance in high-stakes presentations.
Drive the operational rhythm of the program through regular op mechs and maintain workstream clarity via weekly prioritization.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both tactical optimization and high-level strategic pivots.
Qualifications
7+ Years Paid Media with focus on digital. Must have experience leading strategies & initiatives with high impact results in DMA and local marketing, with an in-depth understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Digital Marketing & technical expertise: you are a digital native and expert in driving revenue growth, with focus in paid media.
Passion towards keeping up with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
Minimal travel for industry networking, media, conferences, and related events.
Hybrid Role: 3 days in office/week in either San Diego or an office location in the Bay Area (MTV, SF).
Compensation & Benefits Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender to drive ongoing pay equity. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California, CA: $158,000.00 - 213,500.00
Southern California, CA: $150,500.00 - 203,500.00
