POSITION SUMMARY Our ideal Sr. Manager of Global Retail Marketing is highly organized, able to prioritize and enjoys a fast-paced work environment in the beauty industry. This position will support the Retail Team and report to the VP, Retail Marketing. The incumbent will also meet monthly with the VP, Retail Marketing or VP of Sales to discuss current projects and goal set for the month to come. RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with VP Retail Marketing and key stakeholders for global gondola and secondary fixture updates to ensure brand is represented at highest levels Oversee global visual merchandising and creative briefs to ensure assortments, launch dates and pricing is accurate Maintain integral retail documents to ensure latest pipeline, launch date, and assortment information is accurate and dispersed to relevant key stakeholders Partner with VP Retail Marketing to develop, define strategies for sampling, sets, product assortment by retailer Assist in budget creation and management of sampling, set and promotional programs; monitor and report success and ROI Partner with Operation and Finance teams to ensure global sampling programs align with budget and timelines Support Retail leadership team in creating sales, marketing and educational programs that help drive in-store and online sales Review category and product sales regularly; create and execute action plans for improved core/focus SKU performance Responsible for maintaining and updating relevant retail documents as directed by Retail leadership team Create and maintains organizational templates, global calendars, global factbook and side by sides as directed by Retail leadership team Contribute to customer selling presentations, business reviews and board decks Review and analyze retailer websites and report on trends and newsworthy findings Monitor, and report competitive brands, activities, and products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market trends and share, pricing, and advertising across the categories of skincare, color cosmetics, bath & body, and haircare Support the team with administrative tasks, including ordering and shipping out samples and project management May present seasonal presentations as needed Use out-of-the-box thinking and trend research to contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions Look for ways to improve processes and communicate recommendations to the Retail Team Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all customer partners, vendors, and internal Rare Beauty team members Manage and mentor junior Retail Marketing team members to ensure projects and job functions align with sales team goals Other tasks as assigned REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree or better with specialization in business administration, marketing, or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Team player that works well with others Ability to think ahead, anticipate opportunities and challenges Creative and resourceful, good problem solver Self-motivated and proactive approach with an appropriate sense of urgency Experience in consumer products and/or ecommerce, notably cosmetics or beauty Candidates MUST be punctual, professional, positive, polished, and passionate about beauty! PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Domestic and international travel may be required Seniority level
