Corporate Communications Specialist Location: Austin, TX

HID Global is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to support strategic internal and external communications that engage employees and strengthen HID’s global brand. In this role, you’ll help plan and execute initiatives such as company webinars, announcements, newsletters, and video storytelling. You’ll write compelling internal communications, coordinate global content for digital monitors, and partner with the Video Production Manager to highlight employee stories. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented communicator with a proactive mindset, strong writing skills, and 1–3 years of experience creating impactful content in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the execution of strategic internal and external corporate communications materials

Planning and/or executing a variety of strategic corporate communication efforts for company webinars, conferences, company announcements, intranet articles, newsletters, video series and more

Writing internal communications materials, including employee email updates, company intranet articles, video interview questions, content for digital monitors program

Working closely with Video Production Manager to coordinate and attend video shoots that highlight internal stories and employee spotlights

Coordinating HID’s digital monitors program that shares company information across HID sites around the world

Assisting in creation of slide decks for both external corporate use and for internal needs

Driving and adhering to best practices, policies, and guidelines to improve corporate communication clarity and consistency across integrated channels

Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders on a global level to produce informative, timely and relevant communication via multi‑media formats (email, intranet, video, virtual presentations) for internal consumption as well as for external audiences including clients and media

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications studies or similar

1–3 years of experience from a similar role in a complex and multinational environment

Experience in corporate communications, driving complex projects, creating clear messages, and leading development of various forms of content in English

Detail‑oriented with ability to deliver high-quality work on set deadlines

Passion and engagement for driving change

Can‑do and proactive mindset

Excellent collaboration and communication skills to navigate in a matrix organization

Excellent English skills, both oral and written
