Base pay range $56,586.00/yr - $68,725.00/yr
Summary The Development, Communications and Partnerships Associate will support our fund development efforts with individuals and local philanthropy and increase the visibility of the Child Care Action Council. In collaboration with agency Leadership and the Board of Trustees develop branding and marketing strategies, set fundraising goals and achievable strategies for sustainability and growth. Primary development responsibilities include securing donations, special events, broad-based donor development; planning, implementing, and measuring fundraising strategies for the organization. Primary communications responsibilities involve collaborating with internal teams; marketing and branding the organization as related to fund development; and coordinating outreach to the community.
Communications and Partnerships
In partnership with Leadership and the Board of Trustees develop branding and marketing strategies.
Identify opportunities through research and identify potential partnership opportunities, including grants, funding sources, in-kind donations, and collaborations with other non-profit organizations, government agencies, and private sector companies.
Responsible for CCAC website updates and enhancements.
Strengthen community partnerships through relationship building with donors and stakeholders.
Help develop our social media presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Development
Provide input on the development of a multi-year fundraising, brand awareness, and marketing plan led by the Board of Trustees and CCAC Leadership.
Serve as the main implementer of the fundraising plan, brand awareness, and marketing plan with clear and measurable goals that are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic plan.
In collaboration with Leadership and the Board create and direct a comprehensive development plan. Use fundraising and fundraising leadership experience, including experience in individual, and foundation giving through membership models, events, and donor stewardship.
Manage fundraising program activities including relationship strategy development, prospect identification, solicitation and engagement, recognition, and appreciation efforts as related to current and new revenue.
Research, engage, solicit, and steward donors, funders, and community partners.
Reach out to perspective donors from names of individuals and businesses provided by the Board, Leadership, CCAC staff and others.
In collaboration with Leadership and the Board design compelling events, including tracking all event logistics, coordinating event vendors and partners, and managing the annual event plans.
Establish and maintain and track donor contributions through client relationship management platforms.
Manage data by running reports, analyzing data, tracking trends and determining corresponding courses of action.

Has a minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience. However, any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary qualifications to successfully perform the duties of the position will be considered.
Additional Requirements
Experience raising significant funds over the course of a year.
Ability to design, direct, implement and manage fundraising plans, including individualized cultivation, solicitation and recognition plans.
Ability to determine an individual’s interests, capacity and potential for supporting CCAC’s work.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to plan strategically, think creatively, and build long-term relationships with donors.
Demonstrated self-starter, highly motivated and detailed oriented.
Exceptional verbal and written communications demonstrated through some combination of grant writing and reporting, donor communication, and other organizational messaging.
Ability to work nonstandard hours (evenings, holidays, and weekends) as needed.
Highly proficient at establishing strong partnerships across organizations and influencing stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
