About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Impact Marketing Manager to join our remote team! This role is about building the engine that takes our powerful stories and science-driven mission → and ensures they reach, inspire, and activate the right people. You won’t be writing all the stories (that’s what our Communications Manager does brilliantly). Instead, you’ll be the strategist and amplifier: turning messages into campaigns, building partnerships, running experiments, analyzing data, and finding creative ways to spark measurable growth in volunteers, scientific partners, and donors. You’ll report directly to our Head of Programs. If you love combining creativity with analytics, are motivated by the great outdoors and want your marketing work to have real-world conservation impact, this role is for you! Design and lead marketing campaigns that grow our volunteer base, scientific partnerships, and donor community for all our current and upcoming projects. Execute marketing initiatives to increase conservation volunteer sign-ups and donor leads, with occasional outreach to scientific partners Identify and support partnership-based opportunities with aligned conservation or outdoor brands that expand our reach and impact. Turn stories into strategy: take the content and narratives our Comms team develops, and translate them into targeted, measurable campaigns. Run smart paid media campaigns across Meta (70%), Google (20%), LinkedIn (10%) – and monitor ongoing campaign performance. Build conversion pathways: landing page optimization, SEO, audience segmentation, and email journeys that inspire action. Help nurture and activate partnerships with aligned outdoor, conservation, or science organizations to extend reach and visibility Track and share insights through dashboards and performance reports, making data part of our decision-making culture. Collaborate closely with the Communications Manager on content strategy for growth-related campaigns, the Volunteer Operations Manager on outreach strategies, and the Head of Programs on project scoping, KPI selection, and cross team coordination. 6+ years of experience in marketing remotely, including digital campaign execution and growth experience, ideally with exposure to nonprofit, mission-driven, or outdoor/conservation contexts Ability to design and execute integrated campaigns with measurable impact (leads, conversions, volunteers), with experience leveraging partnerships Great proficiency inMeta Ads(70%), with solid working knowledge ofGoogle Ads(20%) andLinkedIn Ads (10%). Experience pitching and activatingpartnership-based lead generation opportunities, ideally with aligned brands or nonprofits. Demonstrated success in building and optimizingfunnels, landing pages, and SEOstrategies. Ability to runA/B and multivariate testingto refine messaging, creative, and conversion pathways. Familiar withad-hoc, flexible budgets, and able to make impact-driven decisions when working with limited or nonprofit funding. Familiarity withSalesforce, Mailchimp, Google Analytics(or equivalent platforms) for campaign tracking and reporting. Strong analytical mindset: able to build dashboards, interpret performance data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Skilled ataudience segmentationandemail journey automationfor engagement and retention. Clear communicator, cross-functional collaborator, and self-starter who thrives in remote teams. Strategic thinker with acontinuous improvement mindset, always seeking to refine, test, and scale what works. Strong alignment with our environmental mission and a curiosity for science-driven solutions. Experience inconservation, outdoor, or science-aligned industries. Existing network of relevant partners or collaborators in mission-aligned spaces. Prior experience growing communities or mission-driven user bases. Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines in a lean, fast-moving environment. Familiarity withnonprofit donor or volunteer funnels. Strong interest inemerging marketing trends and nonprofit best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
