Advertising Strategy and Execution: Works with the marketing leadership team, both on-property, and home office teams, to provide strategic recommendations for various advertising channels - television, radio, print, OOH and digital media. The Advertising Specialist is also responsible for the development, production and implementation of all on-property marketing communications. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Print Signage: flyers, tent cards, inserts, slot toppers, posters, entrance signs, duratrans, wayfinder directionals, window wraps, placemats, stickers, etc.
- Digital signage including website, TV monitors on the gaming floor, and the MOAS Sign on the exterior of the property and offsite venues/partners.
- Internal FOH/BOH Digital Content: This position overseas the content creation and deployment of all FOH and BOH digital messaging that broadcasts on internal channels and the property's external digital pylon signage.
- Check daily, all in house signage, all in house brochure racks for outdated or damaged signs, and replace info as needed. Complete work orders/signage request for changes or replacement needed. Inform other departments if their signs are damaged or need to be replaced.
- Marketing/Advertising Liaison: Acts as a primary liaison between the requesting department and advertising/marketing department. Identifies challenges and needs, outlines marketing materials required to promote department's products or services. Initiates development and installation of interior/exterior signage and initiates advertising, collateral and signage production. Works closely with home office team to determine the proper routing of the work request and whether it can be accomplished at the property level. The work may involve collaboration with all casino departments - gaming, food and beverage, human resources, finance, marketing, facilities, management and ownership.
- Miscellaneous: capital and construction project signage, miscellaneous supporting materials for all areas on property, from promotions, marketing, & special events to food and beverage, human resources, VLT games, sportsbook, and more.
- Overseeing the creation of promotional pieces, coupons, certificates for assigned promotional events, and communicating this information to all departments involved, as well as Compliance and Accounting
- Assist in the creation of necessary coupons in house and keep ClubJACK, F & B, accounting or any other affected departments informed on all coupons in circulation
- Assist with the preparation, execution and breakdown of promotions and events both on property and off
- Provides necessary information to enable appropriate departments to evaluate the success of special events and promotions via the timely formulation and distribution of recap reports
- Licensed and authorized to obtain cash, and gift cards from the cage and to distribute promotional prize money on the gaming floor
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all rules and procedures for all promotions and events taking place both on property and off. Notifies Marketing Operations Manager of any rules and procedures violations to be corrected
- Any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Operational Manager
- Must be able to work independently
- Must possess excellent guest service skills and the desire to provide our JACK Casino guests with an exceptional gaming experience

- Ability to communicate in a clear, accurate and concise manner, both orally and in writing is required
- Ability to analyze, solve problems and use good judgment to make decisions in demanding situations is essential
- Must have a technical understanding and in-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, including table games and slots and the Loyalty Program
- Must be able to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information required
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Team Members
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and can push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as required
- Must be able to work independently and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be a team player in a professional environment
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Marketing, Business or Advertising degree preferred
- 2+ years work experience in marketing, advertising, or related field
- Creative design background and experience with related programs such as Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and other evolving creative design tools
- Fluency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio
