As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors and employees, and delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client expectations.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
- Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required to address security-related matters specific to a tech, media, or telecom environment.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
