Responsibilities Oversee story development from conception to final publication.
Assign, edit, and approve articles, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and editorial standards.
Monitor current events and trends to guide compelling story selection and coverage priorities.
Manage daily newsroom workflow and editorial staff, setting expectations and deadlines.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for reporters and editorial staff.
Foster an engaging, collaborative newsroom culture while upholding journalistic integrity.
Requirements Exceptional writing, editing, and leadership skills.
Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify stories of public interest.
Experience managing editorial teams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with conservative perspectives and commitment to balanced, fact-driven reporting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation Salary: $70,000–$90,000 DOE + benefits package.
