BL101 began as an Instagram account started by a baseball obsessed teenager on his couch that started a community and has grown into something bigger than he ever could’ve imagined.

Today, Baseball Lifestyle has over 200 employees, retail locations in malls and tournament complexes, and can be found in various sporting goods stores around the country, like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Scheels, and Academy. The community built at BL101 has grown with the company’s success and the mission to grow the love of baseball stands true every day.

The journey at Baseball Lifestyle has brought our brand around the country to some of the biggest venues has to offer, and we will continue to spread our love of baseball and our brand to not just baseball fans, but everyone that is looking for the best off-field apparel the industry has to offer.

Role Overview

The Videographer will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing video content for Baseball Lifestyle 101. This role will require attending on-site video shoots in various locations within the United States to execute on a specific goal. The Videographer will be a full-time, exempt role and will report directly to the Chief Content Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Operating video cameras, setting up shots, handling post-production editing, lighting, and recording audio
  • Filming video on set and on location
  • Working with creative teams and clients to plan video shoots
  • Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
  • Adding computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage
  • Maintaining and managing photo/video equipment
  • Understanding the overall goal; what the desired outcome is and how the content will be used
  • Using a variety of equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and software, to take high-quality photos
  • Using video-enhancing software to correct lighting and enhance the overall appearance
  • Maintaining a portfolio, archiving and managing images, and preparing proofs for approval
  • Working with art teams, graphic designers, writers, and other professionals to meet deadlines
  • Keeping up with industry trends, new techniques, and best practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience

  • Experience with product and brand videography, required
  • 3+ Years experience in lifestyle photography, required.
  • On-set photography experience, required.
  • Experience collaborating with photographers and other creative team members, required.
