Producer/Broker

USG Insurance Services, Inc. is hiring a Producer/Broker to work remotely or in a hybrid setting (depending on your region). The position is full‑time, 8:30–5:00 local time, with compensation ranging from $50,000 to $150,000.

Responsibilities

• Develop a network of relationships with retail insurance agents and solicit new business through sales and marketing techniques.
• Build relationships with in‑house binding and brokerage markets.
• Assess accounts creatively and negotiate terms.
• Manage accounts through the life‑cycle, including administrative workflows with the support team to ensure accurate and prompt responses to service issues.
• Consistently demonstrate a professional, positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Travel to and attend company‑approved conferences, seminars, and educational activities to stay current on market developments, trends, and regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of wholesale broker, MGA, or carrier experience, with preference for excess & surplus lines.
• Sales‑driven, people‑oriented, able to establish new relationships and adapt communication strategies.
• Energetic, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and thrives in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures.
• P&C License required; E&S License preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Reader, and other Windows‑based applications; quick learner of new programs.
