About the Role

Group Director, Programmatic & Media – Orca Pacific: A Monks Company. The role leads the Programmatic & Media (P&M) team, developing and executing media plans across programmatic and direct media partnerships. As department lead, you will own staffing allocation, internal finance and revenue documentation processes, coordination with AdOps, Analytics, Tech, and drive the strategic vision for growth and innovation for the unit. Responsibilities

Set the overall Programmatic & Direct media strategy to drive client business outcomes, supporting client retention, cross-sell revenue growth, and net new business opportunities. Act as sponsor and point of escalation for key accounts running programmatic media Implement internal processes to improve workflow and efficiency across the P&M team and other internal groups Manage team bandwidth, resource planning, and account allocations Provide subject matter expertise on executing programmatic and direct media campaigns across different platforms and publishers Participate in thought leadership and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for internal and external opportunities (e.g., speaking engagements) Drive the overall vision for the team and support shifts in go-to-market strategy as the industry evolves About You

The essentials

10+ years of experience in media planning and programmatic display, native, video, CTV, and audio 5+ years of direct people management experience, leading a team of at least 10 people Experience with at least two of the following: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, StackAdapt; and opinions on when to use one over the other Experience presenting programmatic and/or direct media performance and strategy in a client-facing setting to senior leadership Very high attention to detail and ability to synthesize large data into actionable information General understanding of Search and Social digital media tactics and how they interact with programmatic media Solid grasp of leading DSPs and recommendations for PMP/PG in media plans Understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and advanced measurement (e.g., MMM, MTA) Not a Must, But a Plus

Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager & DoubleClick Campaign Manager Experience leading cross-channel performance marketing efforts, or leading accounts running Search & Social alongside Programmatic & Media Familiarity with advanced measurement tools such as Measured, LiftLab, Haus Benefits / What We Offer
