Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer role at Jacobs. This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. In the Advanced Manufacturing Group, our team delivers cost-effective and transformative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, including markets such as specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, and pulp and paper. We understand that success is about well-designed strategies tailored for every market and location. Responsibilities

Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements Development of final construction documents for these systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water) Coordination with other disciplines Qualifications

At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities Proficiency in Revit Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design Adaptability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely Preferred additional skills

Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems Base pay range

$102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr Benefits and policies

The base salary range is provided; individual pay is determined by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
