Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing for Developer Services. The product marketers craft messaging and positioning, develop GTM programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. The role focuses on Low-Code Development Platform messaging and go-to-market activities, staying current with AI, app development, and DevOps market trends to drive bookings and customer adoption. Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the marketing of AI application development messaging, aligning with business objectives. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of product marketers (5 positions), fostering innovation and collaboration. Messaging and Positioning: Develop messaging for products including Sandboxes, DevOps Center, Agentforce Vibe, and application user licenses, emphasizing value and differentiation. Marketing Programs and Content: Create innovative marketing programs and events that generate and mature marketing pipeline; create and maintain marketing assets including pitch decks, keynote presentations, and enablement trainings. Go-to-Market Strategies: Drive launches, activations, and field readiness to maximize product adoption and revenue growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product management, sales, customer success, and marketing to align and execute initiatives. Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends and competition to inform strategies. Customer Engagement: Gather insights from customers to validate messaging and positioning; develop integrated Customer Success stories. Performance Tracking: Measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance over time. AR/PR: Collaborate with industry analysts and press relations to maintain thought leadership and market relevance. Presentations: Deliver presentations to audiences of varying sizes. Experience And Required Skills
Proven leadership in product marketing, preferably in technology, developer tools, app development, or AI. Experience leading and managing a team. Strategic thinker capable of translating market insights into actionable strategies. Experience developing and executing GTM strategies for complex product portfolios. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. Ability to create content and lead others in content creation; strong marketing eye and creativity. Strong writing, public speaking, and storytelling skills. Passion for SaaS, technology, and disruptive thinking. Proven track record of delivering projects with minimal guidance. Ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence. Creative thinker with ability to generate and execute innovative marketing ideas. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and multi-project management. 9+ years of experience in product marketing.
