As a technical expert bridging client needs and BairesDev's solutions, you'll engage with leads and prospects, design tailored technical solutions, and collaborate with sales and delivery teams to secure new business opportunities. This role combines presales, delivery knowledge, and consulting skills, requiring technical depth and strong communication. You will define project scope, assemble cross-functional delivery teams, and respond to RFPs/RFIs while ensuring each solution is viable, competitive, and aligned with client objectives. Travel to support client meetings and presentations is required. What You’ll Do
Meet with leads and prospects with our sales team to translate requirements into digestible documents, understanding the value proposition behind our delivery model and articulating this to leads and prospects. Travel to meet leads and attend events to support the Sales team as the technical expert, showcasing what we do, how we do it, and why we should partner. Engage in technical conversations around software development and delivery at the solution level; ask the right questions to determine solutions and the composition of development teams. Work with presales on generating decks and proposals (teams, projects, roles, RFQs) for leads, estimating and recommending approaches to software delivery focused on team composition. Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data and Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI. What We Are Looking For
Ability to travel +40% within the US. 8+ years working in the SDLC building software with teams. 5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/solution architect roles, with Manager or Director level desirable. 5+ years in one specific area or role in the SDLC (language, framework, or technology), building and implementing technology solutions. Experience leading teams of software developers or engineers delivering solutions (Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing). Subject Matter Expert knowledge in 1-2 verticals with deep domain experience in at least one (Desirable). Experience with Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure. Must be located in the US.
