Overview
The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is seeking a Senior ELM Project Manager for expanding Base Building Installation and Operational Qualification across North America and LATAM. The Senior ELM Project Manager supports construction phases, building equipment installation, and uses data to identify root causes and implement improvements for launches and retrofits across North America. Responsibilities
Manage new and existing Base Building Operational Qualification, delivering projects and goals across multiple sites to measure building readiness.
Collaborate with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions during building testing.
Systems in scope include Fire Life Safety, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Building Management System, and Electrical systems.
Oversee planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the pre-launch testing program. Coordinate and execute planned shutdowns to facilitate testing and maintenance activities.
Own program communication, accelerate progress by driving clear and timely decisions, and escalate blockers as appropriate.
Influence design and development of strategic processes.
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to milestones and performance to drive business decisions.
Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for customers.
Manage post-launch support plans (post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and identify opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects
Bachelor's degree
Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
