Description The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel is seeking to recruit an Associate Director of Marketing Manager. The role will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to spearhead marketing for The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel, in the heart of New York City's Upper East Side. The Associate Director of Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the hotel's brand identity and driving awareness through strategic social media and digital marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
In conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing, devise and execute a dynamic social media strategy to build a strong online presence and engage with the target audience. Platforms include but are not limited to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Collaborate on the development and refinement of The Surrey's brand identity, ensuring a cohesive and compelling narrative aligning with Corinthia's standards of luxury and excellence.
Oversee the creation of visually stunning and engaging content for various digital platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand message and values. This includes graphics, videos, blog posts, and other multimedia content.
Plan and implement strategic digital marketing campaigns to drive reservations, increase brand awareness, and foster guest loyalty. Utilize tools such as Google Ads, social media advertising, and email marketing.
Actively engage with the local community and influencers to establish partnerships and enhance the hotel's presence in the New York City market.
Monitor and manage online reviews and feedback, responding promptly to enhance the hotel's reputation and address customer concerns.
Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, and Operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to marketing and messaging, aligning with the overall objectives of The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure brand standards are met across all departments of the hotel.
Manage the creation of promotional collateral, ensuring it aligns with the brand identity and effectively communicates the hotel's unique offerings. This includes brochures, flyers, and other printed or digital materials.
Design and execute engaging Electronic Direct Mailers (EDMs) to reach and captivate the target audience, promoting special offers, events, and other relevant hotel updates.
Qualifications
Ideally 5 years with proven experience in a senior marketing role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on social media and digital marketing strategy.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
Proficiency in utilizing various social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling digital content.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes through digital initiatives.
Exceptional IT skills, with a preference for knowledge of InDesign and MS Office.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong presentation skills.
