HDR . In the role of South Florida Roadway EIT/Designer, you will be part of a team delivering urban and rural roadway projects with a focus on geometric design, plans, reports, and calculations. Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects Lead the development of roadway geometric design tasks, including alignments, profiles, and other roadway geometric elements Lead the development of plans, design reports, design calculations and construction cost estimates Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations Perform additional related duties as required to support project and team success Preferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; familiarity with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and OpenRoads Designer and/or Autodesk InfraWorks and Civil 3D Candidates without their EIT may be placed into a Design Coordinator role with progression to EIT Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Preference given to local candidates Required Qualifications
