We understand that success is about well-designed strategies tailored for every market and location. Responsibilities

Looking for an experienced, high-energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. Work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to meet the needs of our clients. Contribute to layout and design of HVAC systems, development of conceptual and preliminary design documents (including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, Air Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, and general arrangements). Develop final construction documents for HVAC systems, including chilled water, cooling water, and related systems. Coordinate with other disciplines. Qualifications

At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines and collaborate with the project team remotely. Preferred/Additional

Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems. Benefits and compensation

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $135,075.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Jacobs offers health benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Eligible employees may enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan.
