Prepare and review drawings and BOMs based on customer specifications.
Generate bulk Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and detailed BOMs independently.
Ensure all drawings comply with engineering and QA/QC standards.
Create layout drawings to illustrate equipment placement and functionality.
Develop and complete various mechanical, piping, and structural deliverables, including:
Piping layouts, isometrics, tie-point drawings, insulation details
Structural GAs, weld notes, connection details, foundations, supports
Equipment mounting, HVAC ducting, instrumentation, P&IDs, flow diagrams
Walkways, stairs, handrails, ladders, platforms, and grating per OSHA
Simulate technical issues in drawings to support problem-solving.
Prepare sequence drawings and procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Compile installation procedures for customer submission.
Supervise outsourced engineering/design work to third-party firms.
Review vendor data and drawings for compliance with specifications and standards.
Generate reports from models and provide design data to internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and updating tools and procedures.
