Structural Designer – Job Description/Duties Reports to Director of Engineering Operate according to PermaTrak’s core values Occasional travel Use AutoCAD to produce accurate construction drawings and shop drawings Use DH CAD (proprietary PermaTrak software) to develop preliminary drawings for sales team Perform structural calculations for PermaTrak components Understand and apply relevant sections of AASHTO, ACI, ASCE and governing building codes Peer review and check drawings for accuracy Develop a high level of understanding for our precast concrete boardwalk product and manufacturing practices Qualifications and Skills Degree in Civil Engineering Technology Proficient in AutoCad Ability to work on fast-paced projects Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines Highly organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects Ability to understand/read construction drawings from consultants Ability to develop full sets of construction and fabrication drawings Requires strong verbal and written communication skills Able to work under minimal supervision First name Last name Phone number Email * Desired Position Resume Upload Message Our precast concrete boardwalk system was created to address the maintenance, safety and longevity issues presented by timber and composite decking boardwalk structures.
