Overview Pep Band Music Coach - Part-time (10 hours/week), Seasonal (6 months) for the Boston College Bands Program. The position supports instruction and leadership for the BC Pep Band. Salary: $9,205.00. Responsibilities Provide instruction and leadership for the Boston College Pep Band, in alignment with the Marching Band Director’s musical technique and standards. Consult with the Marching Band Director to understand and incorporate musical technique and standards within the Pep Band. Attend and provide musical leadership at designated men’s and women’s basketball and hockey games. Be available for potential post-season tournament travel as needed. Support division and university-wide initiatives and staff events as required. Qualifications A master’s degree in music or music education is preferred. Extensive experience instructing students in college ensembles. Must be available for Winter Sports Season (October through April). Must attend all rehearsals and performances. Must be available for post-season tournament travel.
