Overview

We’re Residence Supply, a fast-growing design-driven lighting brand in the U.S. We’ve surpassed eight figures in two years, launched hundreds of handcrafted SKUs, and built a design-loving following. Our chandeliers, sconces, and switches are found in Architectural Digest-worthy homes — and we’re turning the brand into cinema.

The Role

We’re not hiring a videographer. We’re hunting for a filmmaker with taste. Someone who understands DTC ecommerce but shoots like they belong in an A24 film.

You’ll create short-form and campaign films that make Residence Supply feel like Ffern or Aesop.

What You’ll Do

  • Film & Edit Cinematic Content: Craft short films, reels, and campaigns that tell emotional product stories
  • Make lighting feel alive through movement, light, and atmosphere
  • Capture natural light, editorial angles, and subtle human moments

Collaborate & Concept

  • Work directly with our founder & creative team on campaign storylines
  • Help translate our brand into film through mood, composition, and pacing
  • Concept & execute shoots in homes, studios, and architectural spaces

Edit & Innovate

  • Grade, sound-design, and color with filmic precision
  • Use AI tools (Runway, Midjourney, Veo, Sora, etc.) to elevate production
  • Build efficient post-production workflows inside Google Drive & Notion

What You Bring

  • 2+ years filming and editing for premium DTC / lifestyle brands
  • Proven ability to create emotional, cinematic video content
  • Deep knowledge of camera systems (Sony FX / Canon / Blackmagic)
  • Expert in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Passion for storytelling, design, and atmosphere
  • Bonus: You’re inspired by Ffern, Aesop, and The Line

Compensation

  • $4,000–$6,000/month (based on experience)
  • 10 PTO days per year
  • 50% health, dental, and vision comp
