One River School of Art + Design is hiring: Middletown, NJ - Digital and Studio

Overview

Middletown, NJ - Digital and Studio Art Teacher (Adults) — Part-time position. Classes run on weekdays with limited prep required; curriculum is provided centrally and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more proprietary digital art classes to adult students (beginner to advanced).
• Deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and tailor instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Maintain small class sizes and prepare only in-class materials; minimal outside prep required.
• Create an engaging, student-centered learning environment and support student development and inclusion.

Scheduling

• Tuesday 6:00–8:00 pm — Adult Studio Art
• Wednesday 11:30 am–1:30 pm — Adult Studio Art
• Thursday 6:00–7:45 pm — Adult Digital Art (Procreate on iPad)

Qualifications / Requirements

• 1+ years of experience teaching traditional studio art and/or digital art or digital design
• BFA or BS in Art Education
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, and Procreate
• Thoughtful communication skills
• Passion for One River School's mission
• Must live within easy commutable distance from the work site

Compensation

Base pay range: $25.00/hr – $35.00/hr
