$41.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Web Producer to support GitHub’s marketing website. The role involves close collaboration with the Web Production team to publish high-quality, on-brand content and scale the ability to deliver timely updates across a growing global site footprint. Responsibilities include managing repeatable content tasks, contributing to QA, site maintenance, and platform evolution.
Responsibilities:
- QA & Maintenance:
- Conduct light QA for new pages, updates, and launch builds; flag and resolve issues where possible
- Coordinate with the web producer to QA and publish urgent stakeholder requests
- Assist with updates tied to brand refactor efforts (e.g., visual or structural changes)
- Migrate pages to new templates as part of template consolidation
- Implement updates with consideration for accessibility, internationalization, and site performance
- Ensure awareness of localized content across four languages (Japanese, Portuguese, Korean, Spanish)
- Support publishing and updates of translated content as needed (language skills not required)
- Partner with the Web Production lead for task prioritization and oversight
- Communicate directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, unblock tasks, or confirm alignment
- Flag blockers or inconsistencies and follow established escalation and handoff practices
- Aligning with GitHub brand guidelines and web publishing standards
- Provide clear documentation for handoffs and repeatable tasks
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $41.00 - $45.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime as required by law. Final offer amounts are determined by factors including skills, education, and experience.
