Overview

Monroe Group is looking for a Community Manager to join our team. The role involves managing a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community, mentoring and developing the team, and positively interacting with applicants, residents, and teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
  • Developing and managing the budget
  • Ensuring property meets KPI goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset and Budget Management
  • Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
  • Ensuring site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all residents
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree is preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
  • Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
  • English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
  • Ability to pass a full background check

Preferred for Affordable Housing properties

Strong experience in affordable housing programs. Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections. Experience with resident-occupied project renovations.
