Creative Project Coordinator

Location: Onsite, Tampa, FL (Ybor area)

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-hire

Rate: $30-35/hr

About The Role

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Creative Project Coordinator to join our in‑house marketing and communications team. This role bridges our internal and corporate creative efforts—supporting initiatives in HR, internal communications, recruiting, PR, and marketing campaigns. You’ll serve as the organizational backbone for the creative team—keeping projects on track, assets organized, and communication flowing between departments.

You’ll partner closely with our account managers, designers, and marketing specialists to manage timelines, deliverables, and workflow processes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced creative environment and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to moving parts.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent creative projects—from kickoff to delivery—ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, task lists, and deliverables using project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify project goals, schedules, and priorities
  • Track progress, flag potential bottlenecks, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure alignment across initiatives
  • Maintain project documentation, creative briefs, and status reports
  • Organize and manage creative assets in SharePoint and other file management systems
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests from leadership, including PR and sales initiatives

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or marketing operations—preferably in a creative, marketing, or communications environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with project management software (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
  • Understanding of creative workflows, content production, and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Comfortable communicating with C‑suite stakeholders and senior leaders
  • A proactive mindset—someone who asks smart questions, anticipates needs, and keeps teams aligned

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Work closely with a collaborative in‑house creative team that values organization, curiosity, and follow‑through
  • Be part of both internal and corporate initiatives that directly impact brand storytelling and employee engagement
  • Gain exposure to event and campaign coordination (e.g., major brand and community events)
  • Opportunity for long‑term growth—this contract is expected to extend beyond the initial term
