We’re looking for a local, creative content creator to help us bring that story to life through engaging, modern, scroll-stopping content.

The Role:

This is not a full-time role — it’s perfect for someone who loves creating fun, high-quality content and wants flexibility.

You’ll help us:

• Come up with engaging, relevant content ideas for our brand.
• Record and capture high-quality video and photo content (think product highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and creative storytelling).
• Organize and deliver that content to our internal social media team (they handle posting, captions, and scheduling).

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and prepare content concepts ahead of monthly “content days.”
• Join us on-site once a month for filming: either one full day or two half days.
• Collaborate with our founder and creative team to bring ideas to life.
• Keep a pulse on trends and brainstorm ways to keep SKurated’s content fresh, authentic, and modern.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging, and aesthetic content (show us your portfolio or social handles).
• Experience with short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong creative instincts — you know what makes people stop scrolling.
• Comfortable shooting and directing small scenes with real people and products.
• Must be local to NW Suburbs of Chicago for monthly content sessions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with brand storytelling.

Compensation & Logistics:

• This is a freelance / contract position (1099).
• Pay is per content day and based on experience and deliverables.
• Outside of content days, all planning and collaboration can be done remotely.
