Shift Schedule and Compensation

  • 2-2-3 shift schedule/hours: Work Fri–Sun; Off Wed–Thu; Alternate weeks as described
  • 12-hour static shifts (Nights 6:00pm – 6:00am; Days 6:00am – 6:00pm)
  • Starting wage up to $23.50, dependent upon experience
  • Night shift differential: $2.50

What We Need From You (Responsibilities)

  • Operate and output assigned production lines for plastic extrusion
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in operator training to learn extrusion line operations and certification requirements
  • Set up and change extrusion equipment per work orders; inspect products for conformance
  • Monitor quality and scrap; perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance
  • Set up machines for shut-down/start-up/switchovers and production
  • Maintain resin feed and manage materials to sustain production
  • Maintain teamwork with supervisor and coworkers; assist with changeovers as needed

Safety Requirements

  • Prioritize safety and health in all activities
  • Follow company safety processes and housekeeping duties
  • Identify and report near misses or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain production quality and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and seek supervisor assistance when needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in manufacturing, technical field, or engineering
  • An associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or technical certification can substitute for up to 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work with measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers)
  • Strong technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 65 lbs during a 12-hour shift
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Focus on safety and quality production; basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication skills; positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds and operate around hot surfaces and rotating equipment
