About the Role

We’re hiring a Part-Time Studio Photographer who brings energy, empathy, and calm confidence to every session. You’ll guide pets and families through an experience that’s equal parts art and heart — helping them feel seen, celebrated, and connected. We’ll provide full, hands-on training in our fine-art lighting, posing, and storytelling style. What we need from you is the personality, curiosity, and care that make each portrait meaningful.

What You’ll Do

• Photograph pets and families in our signature fine-art style
• Direct each session with clarity, patience, and kindness
• Capture technically beautiful, emotionally powerful images
• Manage studio lighting, gear, and digital workflow
• Collaborate with our retouching and sales teams
• Maintain a polished, welcoming studio environment

Pay & Schedule

• $22.50/hour base pay
• 3% commission on portrait sales (typical total pay equivalent to $23–$24/hour, or ~$30K/year)
• 20–30 hours per week, including at least one weekend day
• Opportunities for advancement to full-time or lead photographer roles

Available Shifts

• Shift A: Wednesday 10 am–2 pm; Thursday 10 am–2 pm; Friday 10 am–2 pm; Two full Saturdays each month
• Shift B: Wednesday 2 pm–7 pm; Thursday 2 pm–7 pm; Friday 2 pm–7 pm; Two full Saturdays each month
• Shift C: One or two full (8-hour) days on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday; Two full Saturdays each month

Please Note: Saturdays are our highest demand days, so all team members need to be available to work at least two full Saturdays each month. For those who do an excellent job, there may be opportunities for additional hours in the future.
