Women of the Vine & Spirits is hiring: Delivery Driver-CDL (PR) in Tampa

Overview

Delivery Driver-CDL (PR) role at Women of the Vine & Spirits (RNDC). The CDL Driver ensures timely and safe delivery of products to customers while maintaining professionalism and customer service. The role may involve collecting non-cash payments as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects. Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations for the license type.
• Deliver invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet, or hand-stack from the delivery truck and place merchandise into the customer account.
• Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the invoice, obtain customer signature, and collect payment if necessary.
• Ensure physical security of the truck at all times.
• Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily; may deliver up to 30 accounts during higher activity periods.
• Cover approximately 160 miles daily (may range from 200 to 300 miles during peak activity or out-of-town routes).
• Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
• Provide feedback to transportation management regarding route changes or concerns.
• Utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software and/or driver monitoring programs as applicable.

What you bring to RNDC (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferably two years of delivery experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Current Class B CDL (Class A may be required for certain locations); ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file with the state Motor Vehicle Department.
• Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by state.
