Summary

As a CDL Driver, you will ensure timely and safe delivery of products to customers while maintaining professionalism and customer service. You may also collect non‑cash payments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects.
• Abide by DOT hours‑of‑service rules for your license type.
• Deliver invoiced products—bottle, case, pallet or hand‑stack—and place merchandise into customer accounts.
• Verify receipt of correct order by checking product type and size against the invoice; obtain customer signature and payment if necessary.
• Maintain physical security of the truck at all times.
• Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily, up to 30 during peak activity.
• Cover approximately 160 miles daily (up to 200–300 miles on high‑activity or out‑of‑town routes).
• Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
• Provide feedback to transportation management regarding route changes or concerns.
• Use a smartphone for HOS software and/or driver monitoring programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferably two years of delivery experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Current Class B CDL license (Class A CDL license also acceptable and may be required depending on location).
• Valid DOT medical certification card and filed with the state Motor Vehicle Department.
• Required state Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) license.
