Senior Associate, Marketing Data Scientist (HH)
Base pay range: $117,600.00/yr - $161,700.00/yr
Role Overview As a Senior Data Scientist in Home Health Analytics, you’ll support Humana’s Home Health business by delivering insights that improve care delivery, member engagement, and operational efficiency. You’ll analyze data across marketing and clinical touchpoints to inform strategy and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze member engagement, campaign performance, and operational metrics for Home Health services
Leverage dashboards and reports to provide visibility and insights into key KPIs
Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and strategy teams to align analytics with business goals
Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover trends and opportunities
Ensure data quality and maintain documentation for repeatable insights
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Mine, clean and analyze data from company databases and external data sources to build predictions of marketing goals, report on campaign performance over time by each channel
Use predictive modeling to bring insights into Humana member experiences utilizing regression, random forests, XGBoost, clustering, text mining for revenue generation and other business outcomes
Conduct power analysis, hypothesis testing, develop marketing A/B test design, support implementation of the tests and present statistical findings to business partners
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
Responsible for valid test design, appropriate sample sizing and setup to ensure statistically significant results and insights generation; advocate continual testing, measurement, and iteration
Transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, pharmacy, business, healthcare, or a related quantitative field OR 3–5 years of data analytics or data science experience
3+ years of demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling
3+ years of strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
3+ years of experience with setting up causal inference experiments
Experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting
Ability to create reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics
3+ years of knowledge of predictive modeling and segmentation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in home health or post‑acute care analytics
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and privacy standards
Master’s degree in a quantitative or healthcare‑related field
Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
Marketing experience a plus
Experience with Adobe Analytics
