Job Summary As a member of the Global Strategic Marketing Team, the Senior Manager will develop marketing plans, execute launch strategies, and grow long‑term sales and market share for assigned products. The role requires leading cross‑functional projects and influencing regional marketing and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and launch new products and line extensions, and support future brand planning through the innovation process.
Leverage “voice of the customer” to understand market trends and create upstream marketing strategies.
Create plans to address market needs and drive sustained growth of assigned brands through strategic and financial planning cycles.
Manage promotional budgets and third‑party vendors.
Develop go‑to‑market strategies for designated segment responsibilities.
Lead and implement comprehensive segment‑specific marketing and development plans.
Adjust plans based on external market dynamics and internal processes for product/segment responsibilities.
Execute strategic and tactical initiatives for assigned products and/or channel segments, including:
Tradeshows and meetings – attend key customer engagement meetings and voice‑of‑customer sessions.
Training – organize and deliver product training to educate, motivate, and activate regional sales representatives and partners.
Sales collateral and education – collaborate with Marketing Communications and Education to develop compelling core marketing collateral and ongoing education initiatives.
Coordinate with R&D, Finance, Clinical, Supply Chain, and Regional Marketing & Sales across four regions to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Minimum 8 years of total business experience.
Minimum 5 years in healthcare and 3+ years in marketing (preferred).
Proficiency in adaptability, teamwork, initiative, innovation, integrity, analytical, leadership, critical thinking, and communication.
Proven success in product management and cross‑functional influence.
Experience in Medical Device, Capital Equipment, or Ophthalmology highly preferred.
Experience engaging with senior leadership and a variety of customers, including patients, surgeons, and industry leaders.
International travel up to 25% anticipated.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$120,000 to $207,000 per year.
Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on company and individual performance.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Retirement savings plans: 401(k) and pension options.
Paid time off: up to 120 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick time, 13 days of paid holiday, and up to 40 hours of personal/family time per calendar year.
