Responsibilities

Shape the innovation design and research approach, anticipating future technologies and user expectations

Lead design and research workstreams to ensure human-centered experiences for members, agents, and employees

Conduct ethnographic research, usability testing, and trend analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunities

Facilitate workshops and sessions to translate design insights into clear narratives for decision-making

Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design

Significant experience in UX, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio

Proven ability to think at a systems level and translate research into customer-centric solutions

Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or User Experience Design

Strong background in property and casualty insurance, financial services, or related industries

Familiarity with human-centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation approaches

Experience in service design and process design expertise
