Senior RF Optimization Engineer (T-Mobile/Nokia) Preferred Location:
Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area
Remote:
Considered (MUST be located in the U.S.)
Work Eligibility:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. at the time the offer is accepted.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Current hands-on experience with T-Mobile & Nokia
Minimum 10 years of RF Optimization experience (LTE, VoLTE, 5G)
At least 2 years of hands‑on 5G Optimization experience
Strong experience with Sub-6, DSS, mmWave, NSA, SA and VoNR optimization
Skilled in analyzing KPIs, investigating network quality issues, and optimizing parameters
Familiarity with Nokia tools: NetAct OSS, Web Element Manager, CM Editor, Nokia SON, etc.
Experience with daily KPI monitoring, performance degradation analysis, and troubleshooting
Deep understanding of Radio Resource Management: handovers, admission control, capacity
Experience with drive testing tools (e.g., Nemo, TEMS, JDSU/RAN Advisor, X‑CAL, Windcatcher, FalconSmart)
Strong skills in performance monitoring, reporting, and counter‑based analysis
Experience using T‑Mobile tools: OneData, Truecall, ActixOne, Atoll, Asset, IMNOS, RFDS
Proficiency with Nokia TDD & FDD parameter tuning
Experience with Layer 3 analysis using Actix or similar tools
Ability to troubleshoot and perform tasks like eNB/gNB resets, parameter changes, XLM plans, alarm resolution
Experience with site health checks, alarm monitoring, and corrective actions
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience also acceptable
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas/macros) and PowerPoint
