Overview We’re looking for a
Staff-level UX Designer
to lead strategic discovery and experience planning for our client's
Home Services
business—an expansive ecosystem spanning multiple customer-facing and associate-facing applications. This short-term engagement will focus on shaping the future of how customers schedule, manage, and experience home services while improving internal associate workflows that support them.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic discovery and alignment workshops
with Home Services partners, product managers, and engineering teams to define the current landscape, future vision, and prioritized opportunities.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration , ensuring alignment across a wide range of stakeholders with varying levels of UX and product maturity.
Develop a north-star experience vision
for Home Services, crafting artifacts such as a
vision house , service blueprints, journey maps, and ecosystem diagrams.
Translate insights into actionable epics
that focus first on customer pain points, then on associate friction—helping the business plan and prioritize for 2026.
Synthesize research, process insights, and partner feedback
into compelling narratives and visual storytelling decks for executive presentations.
Partner closely with Product, Research, and Engineering to ensure a cohesive strategy that is both user-centered and operationally feasible.
Mentor designers and partners on design thinking frameworks, ensuring consistency in how future discovery work is approached.
What You Bring
8+ years of UX experience
with a strong emphasis on
UX strategy, facilitation, and experience visioning
across large, complex ecosystems.
Proven ability to
lead cross-functional alignment —navigating ambiguity and driving clarity among business, product, and tech partners.
Portfolio or case studies
showcasing strategy artifacts such as service blueprints, vision decks, experience maps, or conceptual storyboards.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; ability to frame complex problems and sell a future vision to executives and stakeholders.
Familiarity with
enterprise product environments
(retail, services, or operations domains highly preferred).
Comfort working in a
highly collaborative, hybrid environment
with multiple in-person working sessions per week.
Tools: Figma, Miro/FigJam, and standard collaboration suites (Google Workspace, Keynote, etc.).
Nice to Have
Exposure to
AI/ML-informed strategy , design operations, or systems thinking.
Experience creating
vision houses , conceptual videos, or “north-star” prototypes that communicate future-state concepts.

Compensation & Benefits The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $65.00 to $70.00/hr.
