Exciting Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (contract to hire) opportunity with an established firm. This is hybrid role with Tuesday-Thursday required onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Must be eligible to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship.

6 months+ contract to hire - W2 only.

With our expansion into full-spectrum banking, we are becoming increasingly sophisticated in how we communicate with our customers.

Customers expect that we know them and that our offers and communications are contextual and relevant. In order to deliver on that, we’re improving our data infrastructure and our marketing technology stack.

In this role you will oversee member platform marketing communications, utilizing the capabilities in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.

This product manager will work hand-in-hand with our Marketing, Data, Engineering, Design, Research and Product Line leaders to leverage data as an asset to create new messaging and engagement capabilities.

This role will also partner with the Data organization and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data needs to support new product development and expand platform capabilities. We’re looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves, understand platform capabilities, get into the data, define features, lead, and execute.

What we are seeking:

Campaign administration (the core of the job)

- working with SFMC engineers to create campaign templates, setting up and testing campaigns before they go to production, and evolving the capabilities we’re using within SFMC.

SFMC technical skills

to be able to work effectively with SFMC Engineers.

Stakeholder management

to work with Marketing to help ensure campaign intake is working smoothly.

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification is highly preferred.

Proven experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Understanding of REST APIs, Web Services and other technologies that interact with Salesforce Service Cloud.

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salesforce Platform App Builder (Preferred)

Salesforce Platform Developer II (Preferred)

Salesforce Administrator experience on Lightning Platform (Preferred)

Minimum 3+ years of Product Management experience working in a Martech focused role.

Previous experience with Salesforce a plus, especially in Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Personalization.

Strong communicator across different audiences and communication styles. Can simplify intricate problems and effectively explain them to a non-technical audience.

Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded with an ability to pursue complex problems in an organized way.

Comfortable working closely with Engineering and experience with Agile development.

High energy, can-do attitude with willingness to get things done.

Strong organization, analytical, and planning skills, with ability to maintain multiple projects.

Self-directed, able to work independently and in team-oriented environment.

Daily Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with marketing and business teams to plan/groom website and member platform communication requirements, align on expectations, and prioritize work based on engineering capacity.

Agile Ceremony Management: Facilitate and manage agile ceremonies, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery accountability among engineering teams.

Jira Board Ownership: Own and manage the Martech SFIS Jira board, ensuring clear and up‑to‑date tracking of all ongoing activities.

Technical Specification Writing: Develop technical specifications for engineering tasks related to Salesforce Interaction Studio (SFIS) and logged-in member communications.

Technology Leadership: Oversee strategic deployment and utilization of Salesforce Interaction Studio, guiding development of real-time personalized customer engagement strategies.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Management: Lead the Martech team, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Interaction Studio to drive effective marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

Analytics Collaboration: Partner with analytics and data teams to identify and resolve issues impacting cross-sell communications.

Cross-functional Teamwork: Work across engineering teams to draft, refine, and prioritize Jira tickets, enhancing the member experience in logged-in environments.

Discovery Support: Aid in discovery of analytical insights related to cross-sell communication engagement.

Roadmap Prioritization: Assist in prioritizing the platform roadmap aligned with product leaders, engineering, marketing, and data teams.

Data Requirements Refinement: Define and analyze data requirements for launching new and updated cross-sell communications and collaborate with data teams to procure required data from offline warehouse to SFMC.
