Job Description Improve the quality, consistency and return on investment of customer-facing & business development events. Enable greater sales effectiveness in strengthening relationships with customers and prospects by identifying the appropriate events based on targets, developing and managing project plans for each event and working with sales teams to create an exceptional customer and prospect experience.

Research & evaluate trade shows, customer engagement opportunities & conferences in support of North America regional growth strategies including logistics and industry vertical events, customer events, site tours, etc.

Work with marketing leadership & business units to prioritize events/budget allocation annually, serve as liaison between business unit / marketing leaders & event organizers in executing events

Develop & implement holistic / strategic plans for North America trade shows, conferences, customer forums, large-scale customer dinners & hospitality events, including event concepting, theming, marketing, follow up, success measurement, etc.

Create and manage event briefs & timelines, exhibit displays production, collateral & premium items, delivery & set-up, speaker arrangements, event app catering, etc.

Develop & customize event-related templates and marketing and exhibit material inventory – trade show booths, banners, literature stands, invitations, ads, promotional items, signage, name tags, flyers, fact sheets, agendas, web content, web links, event calendar on corporate website, etc.

Develop and maintain event planning guides including best practices, online registration systems and budget, timeline and resource planning tools

Secure attendee/registration lists for customer/prospect engagement planning & follow-up; follow and fine-tune procedure for maintaining event registration database for DSC invited guests for various events

Develop & distribute communications including invitations, pre- & post-event customer / prospect communications including logistics,hospitality, on-site contact, pre-reading, surveys, etc.

Supports various event- and marketing campaign activation-related activities including collateral development, email marketing, web content and online promotion development, search marketing, etc.

Maintain DHL internal / external event calendar and update global / Americas reports

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing or related field, required

6+ years of B2B event planning and/or marketing experience, required
