We’re looking for a freelance graphic designer to partner with our marketing and executive teams in bringing our portfolio of luxury restaurants and hospitality brands to life through impactful design, creative storytelling, and high-quality execution. Role Overview
The ideal candidate has a refined design sensibility, deep understanding of luxury aesthetics, and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality. This role will create assets that span digital and print — from email campaigns and digital invites to web graphics, social visuals, menus, and brand decks — while maintaining the integrity and elegance of each concept’s brand identity. You should feel equally comfortable concepting from scratch or executing within established brand guidelines, and be fluent in both
Adobe Creative Suite and Canva . Experience with
AI design tools such as Midjourney or DALL·E
is strongly preferred. This freelance engagement will be governed by a written contract in accordance with the NYC Freelance Isn’t Free Act. The agreement will outline project scope, rate, and payment terms, and payment will be made within 30 days of project completion or as otherwise stated in the contract. Key Responsibilities
Design digital and print assets
across the Altamarea Group portfolio, including: Email marketing templates and promotional campaigns Digital and print invitations for events and collaborations Website banners, landing pages, and creative modules Menus, flyers, in-restaurant signage, and collateral Pitch decks, sponsorship proposals, and partnership presentations Concept and deliver
creative direction for new brand initiatives , product launches, and experiential campaigns. Leverage
AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, etc.)
to ideate and render creative concepts for campaigns, spaces, and branding. Collaborate closely with the
marketing team, CEO, and restaurant leadership
to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment. Manage multiple concurrent projects, often with quick turnaround times, while maintaining an exceptional level of polish. Prepare files for web and print production as needed. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle brands. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva. Experience designing for email marketing (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar). Familiarity with Midjourney or other AI design platforms. Excellent understanding of layout, typography, and brand systems. Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Strong communication skills and collaborative work style. Passion for restaurants, design, and visual storytelling. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as an independent contractor. What We Offer
