Position Overview

As the on‑site Community Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional resident experiences, managing leasing and administrative operations, supervising staff, overseeing financial reporting, executing marketing strategies, and maintaining smooth property operations for our student housing property.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all community staff, ensuring optimal team performance and development.
• Recruit, train and, when necessary, terminate team members in strict accordance with company policies.
• Manage staff schedules and oversee the timely submission of property payroll.
• Maintain property to the highest standards and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Implement and monitor property reporting requirements and negotiate contract obligations and terms with vendors.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and maintain strong partnerships with universities.
• Develop and execute quarterly reputation management plans.
• Enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager on special projects and assignments.
• Complete all assigned HR/People Operations‑related tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Work full shift on site and be available for additional hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime when necessary.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; college degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in property management or related fields.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Windows or Apple operating systems.
• Experience with student housing operations.
• Experience with Entrata and Yardi software.
