Hemmings is looking for an independent and thoughtful Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team based out of Charlotte, N.C. (though this position can be remote). You will be joining a talented group of developers and contributing to overall goals for the site. Hemmings has been serving collector car enthusiasts for over 70 years. The work that you will do will cover both desktop and mobile experiences and will immediately impact our business, especially as we reimagine our marketplaces for vehicles, parts, and services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute and collaborate with the entire team to provide a solid product and experience for our users
• Provide a voice for our continued development with regards to best practices
• Stay current on technology, news and ideas in mobile and web development
• Act as an advocate for the user’s perspective

Requirements

• Two to Four years of experience with Laravel or other similar PHP frameworks
• Two to Four years of experience with Vue.js or other similar JS frameworks
• Experience utilizing AWS (Cloudfront, Lambda, S3, etc)
• Experience with MySQL
• Excellent Understanding of design patterns and best practices
• Ability to partner closely with our talented design and business teams to scope and deliver valuable projects on time
