We service 1,500 specialty stores across the country and have a beautiful brand new 25,000 Sq. Foot Warehouse space. Founded in 2000, Habitat Clothes To Live In, Inc. has grown to include three divisions (Escape, Olivia and Habitat Clothes) with 6 lines per year and over 10,000 SKUs. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Habitat Clothes to Live in is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Print Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, the Print Designer will be responsible for developing innovative and on-trend textile prints and patterns that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience. This is a unique opportunity to bring your artistic vision to life in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design Development Create original prints, patterns, and graphics for women’s apparel, focusing on current trends and seasonal themes Utilize AI tools and software to develop and enhance creative print design concepts and layouts Develop mood boards and concept presentations to support seasonal collections Research Trends Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, color stories, and print techniques Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs align with brand aesthetics and consumer preferences Technical Execution Translate hand-drawn or digital artwork into production-ready designs Craft and present persuasive design proposals that clearly convey ideas and align with project goals. Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and be optimized for various fabrics and applications Collaboration Collaborate with the Creative Designer to strategize and execute designs for upcoming seasonal print collections Work closely with product developers, merchandisers, and sourcing teams to ensure designs are executed accurately. Participate in cross-functional meetings to review prototypes and provide input for adjustments Quality Control Review and approve samples for color accuracy and design integrity Maintain consistency and quality across all print designs QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THE ROLE Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 3+ years of experience in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design or related field Strong time-management skills and ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other relevant design software Strong understanding of textile printing techniques, color therapy, and fabric applications Excellent eye for detail, color and composition Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to solve matters quickly Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes per company needs Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sharon, MA 02067 #J-18808-Ljbffr
