Iconograph has several exciting projects on the boards and is looking for a dedicated Production Artist to join our small multidisciplinary team. Role Summary This position works closely with both the 3D and 2D design teams to finalize and prepare design concepts into precise, print and fabrication‑ready files. You will ensure that artwork is accurately scaled, formatted, and labeled for a variety of materials and production methods, including vinyl, dimensional lettering, architectural signage, and wallcoverings. Responsibilities Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, layout, and artwork production Prepare production‑ready files based on technical specifications and design intent Ensure all artwork meets the specific requirements for various production methods by understanding material properties and limitations Review and proof files for errors, consistency, and adherence to brand standards Maintain organized file systems, layer structures, and naming conventions Work closely with internal teams and fabricators to ensure production feasibility Ensure signage meets applicable regulations and standards Work with internal teams to review samples, shop drawings, and participate in site visits Qualifications 2+ years of experience in artwork production Strong knowledge of 3D space, materials, and the built environment Understanding of architectural scales and drawings Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Google applications, and SketchUp Proficiency in CAD tools a plus, but not required Simple IRA with 3% match after one year of employment Comprehensive gold‑level health, dental, and vision insurance 13 paid holidays Parental leave pay Travel reimbursement for hybrid employees Optional studio‑wide work from home days after 6 months of employment Reimbursement allocation for professional development Employment Details Location: Charlottesville, Virginia (in‑person) Employment type: Full time / Exempt Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 Benefits Simple IRA with 3% match, comprehensive health insurance, 13 paid holidays, parental leave pay, travel reimbursement, work‑from‑home flexibility after 6 months, and professional development assistance.
