Job Summary As a UI/UX Product Designer at Medefy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our industry-leading benefits navigation app. You\'ll work closely with cross-functional teams, translating complex business requirements into seamless and engaging design solutions. Your day-to-day will be filled with opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and lead the charge in enhancing the overall user experience of our SaaS products.

Job Duties & Responsibilities User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors. Analyze data and feedback to derive actionable insights that inform design decisions.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
Iterative Design Excellence: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and industry best practices. Strive for pixel-perfect, visually engaging interfaces that set industry standards.
UI/UX Design: Develop clean, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces for our SaaS applications. Ensure consistency across platforms and devices, maintaining a cohesive brand experience.
Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life. Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale, incorporating feedback throughout the design process.
Stay Current With Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You must have at least the following:
4-6 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
It Would Be Great If You Have
Relatively tech savvy (we are a SaaS company after all)
2+ years’ experience in any of the following areas: health insurance, employee benefits, insurance brokerage, HR, telemedicine, general healthcare

Remote Work Environment: This position is performed remotely in a home-office setting. The employee must ensure a quiet, private workspace free from distractions and suitable for video conferencing and focused work. A reliable high-speed internet connection is required.
Physical, Cognitive & Emotional Demands Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8+ hours per day). Vision abilities required include close vision for computer use and reading documentation. Occasional light lifting of materials (up to 15 lbs).
Communication Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively in English via written and verbal channels. Must be able to read and interpret complex written information and be responsive during scheduled hours.
Cognitive & Emotional Demands: Ability to manage multiple complex tasks, strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, independent judgment, and discretion. Must maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing workflows, with resilience in distressed-user scenarios.
Work Schedule & Attendance Must be punctual and dependable, with potential for on-call duties as needed.
Must maintain regular attendance and meet performance expectations without direct on-site supervision.
