Responsibilities
This entry-level role provides hands‑on experience in media relations, content creation, event support, and project management, working closely with the Director of Public Relations and cross‑functional partners.
- Draft press materials including releases, media alerts, and briefing documents.
- Assist with proactive media outreach and respond to journalist inquiries.
- Create and edit PowerPoints and presentations for multiple levels of the organization.
- Draft LinkedIn copy and support various social media requests.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports summarizing brand mentions, trends, and PR campaign performance.
- Respond to a wide variety of requests for information, policies, and procedures, and executive action.
- Support SVP, Investor and Public Relations and direct team on ad hoc requests for PowerPoint/graphics.
- Coordinate event participation, planning, and logistics.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for PR events, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
- Coordinate vendor and agency partners to ensure successful execution of campaigns.
- Track deliverables, timelines, and budgets under the direction of the Director, PR.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 2–5 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
