Job Title: Marketing Specialist (Events, Tradeshows) Pay Rate: $30to $33/Hr Duration: 12 Months Job Requisition: JP00077320 Location: Remote (2-3 Days Onsite a Month in Tarrytown, NY)

Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern time

Remote (remote but needs to be in the Tarrytown, NY area. Candidate will be expected to be on-site to support customer events (approx. 1-3xmonth). Could also have desk space in the office if preferred.)

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist - Engagement and Advocacy Programs to supportour customer-facing sales programs, including Laboratory Diagnostics Mobile Labs, Customer Experience Centers, Reference Sites, and Customer Advocacy programs focused on increasing our brand awareness and demand across the Laboratory Diagnostics business. Working directly with the Marketing Manager, this role will interact with multiple teams and facilitate superior customer experiences.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent operational and project management skills, communications and writing skills, resourcefulness, passion, and the ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.

Program Coordination

  • Coordination of program requests for Mobile Labs between the sales teams, marketing team, and external agency operating the vehicles to ensure each event is executed smoothly
  • Project support for Mobile Labs to update graphics and materials for the events, work with creative teams to provide branded toolkits, including invitations and follow-up surveys
  • Act as on-site host for customer visits in our Tarrytown, NY facility, including pre-visit site preparation – welcome signage, room set up, IT presentation support, and room reservations
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on approved customer events to set up planning calls and guide the account teams with program outlines, templates, and agendas to facilitate the customer experience
  • Tracking and facilitation of reference site visits, including confirmations and database management
  • Work with our tradeshows and events team to maintain an annual events calendar
  • Support the sales organization on requests for regional tradeshows and events
  • Will be working with 4 team members. Working directly with the marketing manager.

Administration

  • Manage updates to our intranet page to facilitate information to field teams on all programs
  • Working with existing finance and compliance processes for approvals of events, speakers, and payments to partners
  • Internal alignment across teams for program tracking and reporting
  • Creation and distribution of monthly program reports to marketing & sales teams as well as leadership

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field Minimum of an Associate’s degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in B2B Marketing and/or Communications
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail,customer service skills, and program/task management
  • A proven track record of conceptual creative ability and judgment.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with creative and marketing teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office, Smartsheet, etc)
