Creativities Studio is hiring: Art Teacher in Village of Tarrytown

We are currently seeking an art teacher to teach in White Plains, NY & Tarrytown, NY on weekday afternoons starting 12/1. We are specifically seeking someone who has worked with clay and also digital art.

Responsibilities

• Instruct art classes for children ages 4-10 in a private school in Tarrytown, NY.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to commit for a 3-12 month period.
• Must be comfortable instructing 5-10 children and completing one art project per class.
• For digital art class - experience with Canva and Adobe Illustrator.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience required.
• Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
• Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
• Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
• Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
• High hourly compensation.
