Roving Community Manager (Affordable) Location: San Diego, CA | Compensation: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (Full‑time, benefits included) About CONAM Management Corporation Founded in 1975, CONAM operates in 10 states across 26 key metropolitan markets, supporting over 60,000 apartment units of both affordable and conventional housing. What We Are Looking For We need a Roving Community Manager to oversee operations and management of an affordable apartment community in the San Diego Affordable Region. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations ensuring a safe, well‑maintained environment. Lead, mentor, and supervise on‑site staff focusing on customer service, leasing, and resident relations. Manage leasing process: marketing, tours, applications, leases. Create and maintain budgets, prepare monthly financial reports, monitor expenditures. Conduct regular inspections and ensure regulatory compliance. Administer resident programs and services to build a strong community. Oversee renovations and projects on time and within budget. Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally. Maintain records for move‑ins, move‑outs, rent collections, and renewals. Collaborate with corporate leadership to achieve community goals. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications 2‑3 years of property management experience with affordable apartment communities. Experience with HUD, LIHTC, PSH, Section 8, Senior, Rural Development. Hands‑on operations and staff leadership skills. Strong financial reporting, budgeting, rent collection knowledge. Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or equivalent property management software. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for top‑tier customer service and community building. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
