Part-Time/Freelance User Experience Analyst

Lone Rock Point is seeking a UX Analyst with a strong interest in the research and design of engaging and innovative user experiences. This analyst will study users’ needs and ensure client goals align with usability standards, providing both analytical and creative solutions to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborating on user experience planning.
Consulting with clients and team members.
Leading meetings with clients to understand requirements.
Identifying capabilities/services for end users.
Researching and identifying existing content and missing content to support system development.
Creating and designing wireframes, process flows, user personas, and journey maps.
Using storyboarding, task analysis, and user research to capture and develop user requirements.
Conducting user research activities such as usability testing and surveys.
Follow up on user research submissions.
Assist with IT capabilities and support for meetings.
Providing overview presentations and Q&A talks for client teams.
Working knowledge of accessibility requirements.
Develop custom WordPress solutions as needed.
Oversee implementation of new feature requests.
Advise on WordPress best practices.
Work with project managers to estimate effort.
Review code and pull requests from other developers.
Set up code repositories and remote development installations.
Maintain continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines.
Coordinate releases with partner IT groups.
Help other developers by sharing knowledge and requesting help.
Qualifications
Trained in Customer Experience fundamentals.
Minimum 2 years of experience with O365 fundamentals including SPO, Power Apps and Flow.
Portfolio demonstrating research and design; includes knowledge base articles, customer journey maps, usability tests, card sorts, field studies, surveys, journey map analysis, wireframes, UI patterns and best practices.
Strong visual communication abilities, drawing skills, and ability to create executive-level briefings.
Effective listening skills to gather and understand customer requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of common software project management, technology products, and development practices.

Benefits
This is a Part‑Time/Contract role with no benefits.
Location: Washington, DC; Salary: $69,400.00–$158,000.00 (part‑time)
